The Basic Cyber Camp serves as an introductory course to Cyber Security, preparing cadets to compete in the CyberPatriot curriculum. Cadets should be familiar with Windows 10, Ubuntu 16, and the CyberPatriot program.


All Members 

  • Member in good standing (must possess CAPID card with expiration no earlier than 03 Aug 2019)
  • Completion of Cadet Protection Policy Training (CPPT) if the member is 18 years of age or older
  • Completion of Operational Security (OPSEC) training


  • Completion of Achievement 1 (Curry Award)

Senior Members 

  • Completion of Level 1
  • Completion of Operational Risk Management (ORM) Basic and Intermediate courses
  • Completion of Cadet Protection Policy Training (CPPT) Basic and Advanced courses
  • Possess a CAP/FLWG driver licence


The activity fee for cadet students is $50.00. This fee includes the cost of meals and lodging. Payment can be made during online registration.


Complete the online registration in the menu to the right (or below on mobile). Make sure you have signed copies of the CAPF 31, 160, 161, and 163 ready. Registration deadline is 15 Jul 2019.

Transportation to and from such activity is not the responsibility of CAP.  Privately owned vehicles travel to or from such activity is performed strictly at the member’s own risk (reference CAPR 77-1, para 6c and CAPR 52-16, para 8-10) and is not under CAP direction and control. Transportation during the activity will be provided (CAP Corporate Vehicles).
